At around 1000 THB per night Honey House Hotel is a good choice for budget travelers wanting to stay in central Bangkok.

It is a good basic hotel close to Phrom Phong BTS Sky Train station and the Emporium Department Store.

There are plenty of oily massage parlors in the area near the Emporium and Soi Cowboy can be quite a walk though not far at all.

Woraburi Sukhumvit is located in a quiet part of Soi 4 yet still close enough to Nana Entertainment Plaza that would require a 10 minute walk. The hotel does provide a free tuk tuk service to make your trip to NEP quicker.

There are lots of great places to eat and drink on Soi 4. Check out some of the pubs and open air bars as well as the pool halls where freelancers hang out.

Bally's Studio Suites is perfect for those who need a lot of space but don't want to spend too much money.

Superior rooms are spacious at 30 sqm. and these are the standard rooms. Bally's Studio Suites is a very well maintained hotel with with a few guest perks such as a pool and gym.

The only trade off is that Bally's is located a bit far off the main drag of Sukhuvmit road. But for the price and quality most travelers may not mind a 15 - 20 minute walk to the BTS station to get to Soi Cowboy and Nana or the oily massage parlors.

Bangkok's 24 Inn is a popular budget girl friendly hotel in a busy section of the city.

This hotel is also a very good choice if you like to enjoy Bangkok's famous oily massage parlors.

Soi Cowboy is a far walk, however it is one station away from Phrom Phong BTS Sky Train station which is right outside the hotel.

One of the most popular hotel in the area. Just right around the corner is Nana Entertainment Plaza, about a 3 minute walk. Nana BTS station is close for easy travel to the city's shopping and attractions.

City Lodge is run by the Amari group, a very popular name that handles 5 star properties throughout Asia. It's about a 10 minute walk to Nana Entertainment Plaza and close to BTS Nana station. There are many freelancers that are outside this part of Sukhumvit road.

Ibis Nana Hotel is one of the newest girl friendly hotel on the same Soi as Nana Entertainment Plaza, just a short 3 minute walk to the entrance.

The rooms here are quite comfortable if a bit small but everything is new and in order. Pretty good buffet breakfast too, one of our reviewers noted.

Hip Hotel was designed originally as a soapy massage parlor but somewhere along the way it never came through.

Hip Hotel is close to many popular soapy massage parlors in the Huay Kwang section of Bangkok. It's a bit far from the city center, but you can use the MRT subway at Huay Kwang station, about a 5 minute walk from this hotel to get to Patong, Nana and Soi Cowboy.

The Sawasdee Hotel 8 is a part of a popular Thai budget hotel chain with hotels mainly in Khao San Road.

This hotel is just one of several in central Bangkok close to the red light district of Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy.

This particular property is much better with better furniture and high room quality. It's a great place to stay for exploring all of the nightlife options in Bangkok on a low budget.

The City Lodge is now run by the Amari Group, a well known hotel chain in Asia with an excellent reputation for service and quality. There is another City Lodge on Sukhumvit Soi 9, closer to Nana.

Heaven@4 Hotel Bangkok is also a new hotel in the Nana Red Light District and just minutes walk to the go go bars inside Nana Entertainment Plaza.

It's a very good location with many nightlife activities to indulge in so it's a very good hotel choice.

The superior rooms which are standard is a bit small but it should be no problem at all for a solo traveller.

The Palazzo is right next to a strip of very popular soapy massage parlors on Ratchadapisek road such as Emmanuelles and Caesar's Entertainment. Takes about 5 minutes to walk to those places. The Huay Kwang MRT station is the quickest way for you to get to Sukhumvit, about a 10 minute train ride.

Paradiso is a brand new hotel closest to Soi Cowboy. Though Nana Entertainment Plaza is within 10 minute walking distance. If you're staying here check out Thermae Bar right across the street in the basement of the Ruamchitt Hotel. That's where you'll find many Thai freelancers.

Not exactly the newest or shiniest hotel, but still very popular with tourist. A very popular disco called Angel's Nana is in the lobby. And literally hundreds of freelancers hang outside the parking lot starting at evening.

Nana Entertainment Plaza is just right across the street.

Boss Suites - 1550 THB

Boss Suites is a new hotel located near Nana Entertaiment Plaza. There are many bars along the path to the hotel worth visiting as well.

There is also a nice small swimming pool and fitness center for guests use. Boss Suites also offers a free tuk tuk service to Nana BTS station or even if you just want to go to NEP.

Merisess Sukhumvit 16 is one of the few budget hotels close to Soi Cowboy's go go bars, about a 10 minute walk.

There are no guest facilities but the hotel's new modern designed rooms and comfortable furnishings is one reason why Merisess is one of the most popular budget guest friendly hotels near Soi Cowboy.

A very nice hotel located in a quiet area. The hotel's location is about a 15 minute walk to Soi Cowboy.

Mostly popular with tour groups the Manhattan hotel is an exceptional value. The location is really good since it's between the red light districts of Soi Cowboy and Nana.
