Soapy Massage Parlors
All of the best soapy massage parlors in Bangkok are located along Rachadapishek Road (Ratchada) and are easily reached by taking the MRT to Huay Kwang station. This is one of my all time favorite places to wander around and see how the local Thai population live when I had an apartment around here once.
Many ladies who work in clubs and bars live in Huay Kwang and you'll see plenty of them piss drunk shopping and wasting their money away after they've finished work along Huay Kwang road. So it is a really interesting place to stay in. It is also a fascinating place to see this side of Thai life aside from people watching in other parts of Bangkok such as Sukhumvit and Silom.
This area has does have the fewest amount of guest friendly hotels. And because they are a bit further away from the city's center the rates are lower but you really get a good value. Palazzo Bangkok Hotel - 1275 THB

The Palazzo is right next to a strip of very popular soapy massage parlors on Ratchadapisek road such as Emmanuelles and Caesar's Entertainment. Takes about 5 minutes to walk to those places. The Huay Kwang MRT station is the quickest way for you to get to Sukhumvit, about a 10 minute train ride.
Hip Hotel Bangkok - 1400 THB

Hip Hotel was designed originally as a soapy massage parlors but somewhere along the way it never came through. So it was turned into a modern hotel instead. A lot of very interesting themed rooms to choose.
Veronica Residence - 1650 THB
227 Ratchadapisek Road
The Veronica is the furthest from everything. The closest soapy massage parlor is Poseidon, a very popular place to visit. The only access you have to the rest of the other red light districts in Bangkok is by using the MRT at Sutthisan station, just a 5 minute walk away.
Emerald Hotel Bangkok - 2000 THB
99/1 Ratchadapisek Road
This is a very popular long standing guest friendly hotel. About a 5 minute walk to the nearest soapy massage parlor Nataree. A couple of my friends stayed here recently and they thoroughly enjoyed their stay.
If you like sushi they have a really good buffet you should check out.
