New Bangkok Guest Friendly Hotels
All of the hotels listed here opened after 2008. Some of the hotels listed here are so new that they are running at a "soft operation" level, which means you should be a little more patient with the hotel's service. But the great news is that many newly opened hotels in Bangkok offer excellent room rates to attract guests and build a customer base. And once the word gets out you can expect the room rates to go up. So it's best to take advantage of the discounts now.

Cozy at Ten - 1300 THB
Sukhumvit Road Soi 10
Cozy at Ten is another new hotel just across Thermae Bar and Coffee shop, a popular place to pick up freelancers. The rooms here are quite comfortable and roomy. Just to warn you there are no elevators in this hotel though. But for the price it's very well worth it since it's in a very good location.
Boss Suites Bangkok - 1400 THB
42 Sukhumvit Road Soi 4
Boss Suites opened up in late 2009. It's about a 10 minute walk to Nana Entertainment Plaza, but they do provide a free tuk tuk to get there or anywhere else in the immediate area such as the Sky Train. This is a very modern hotel and sure to be a popular one as well.
Ibis Nana Hotel - 1470 THB
41 Sukhumvit Road Soi 4
Just a 5 minute walk from Nana Entertainment Plaza the Ibis Nana Hotel's location will ensure you'll never get bored. The rooms here are decent in size due to the compact furnishings. Only trade off is the small bathroom.
Paradiso Boutique Suites - 1500 THB
1/11-12 Sukhumvit Soi 10
Paradiso Boutique is also in a very prime location. It's right between the go go bars in Nana Entertainment Plaza and Soi Cowboy. And if you don't like paying bar fines then check out Thermae at the basement of Ruamchitt Hotel right across Sukhumvit road between Soi 13 and Soi 15. The rooms here are a bit small but since everything is brand new it's comfortable.
Sachas's Hotel Uno - 1900 THB
28/19 Sukhumvit Road Soi 19
Sacha's Hotel Uno just opened in early 2008. For true fans of Soi Cowboy you'll really enjoy staying here. It's only a 10 minute walk, but there is a tuk tuk that will take you to the main road of Sukhumvit for a shorter walk. This hotel will certainly be one of the best in the area.
The Dawin Bangkok - 1990 THB
35/1-2 Soi Sukhumvit 4
One of the newest hotels in the popular red light district of Nana, the Dawin is a small and compact hotel yet the rooms still provide excellent comfort. The Dawin is just a 3 minute walk north to Nana Entertainment Plaza's doorsteps and there are plenty of freelancers around to keep you busy. There is also free Wi-Fi and a small swimming pool as well.
S Sukhumvit Suites Hotel -2000 THB
403 Sukhumvit Rd. Soi 21
Just opened in early 2009 which is why the S Sukhumvit's rates are still low. For 2000 THB you get to stay in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Bangkok. Just a quick 5 minuet walk to Soi Cowboy. And if you want to explore Bangkok you have quick acess to the MRT and BTS train systems.
On 8 Sukhumvit Hotel - 2299 THB
160/1-162 Sukhumvit Soi 8
On 8 Sukhumvit is a little cool chic boutique hotel found right on Soi 8. It's an excellent strategic location for visiting Nana and Soi Cowboy red light districts. And if you want a different scene then head right across the road to Soi 11 where you'll find the places that upscale Thais go to party.
Dynasty Inn Grande - 2100 THB
21 Soi Sukhumvit 6 (Soi Nana)
The Dynasty Inn Grande just made it into this list since it was opened in 2007, which is still considered new for a hotel's age. But the quality and comfort of this Dynasty Inn compelled me to recommend this hotel. It's just around the corner from Nana Entertainment Plaza, about a 5 minute stroll.
President Palace Hotel - 2599 THB
18 Sukhumvit Soi 11
President Palace Hotel is a part of a popular hotel chain well known for high quality and service. As it's newest hotel there's even the first Manchester's United pub and restaurant built right in. There's free Wi-Fi, a nice little pool and a well equipped gym.
