Patpong Guest Friendly Hotels

Patpong is a red light district located on two primary lanes, aptly called Patpong 1 and Patpong 2, between Silom and Surawongse road. Mixed among the go go bars and sex shows in Patpong 1 is where you'll also find a popular night market for tourist. The night market opens around 7pm to 1am, about the same time the go go bars open for business and close for the night too.

You'll also find plenty of great English pubs around the area to enjoy and kick back while you sip a cold beer. Take your time when visiting any of Bangkok's red light districts especially in Patpong. Sometimes finding the right lady to spend the night with takes time and there's nothing better then to sit at a bar and just relax and people watch. And believe us, there's plenty to see in Patpong.

Wall Street Inn is right across a popular gay nightlife section. Patpong is just a short 5 minute walk away and the Japanese hangout Soi Thaniya is just around the corner. Note: It's important you register the room for two guests at Wall Street Inn so you won't get charged a joiner fee.

Silom City Hotel is located down a quiet alley. However it's only about 5 to 10 minutes away to Patpong by taxi. The nearest BTS station is Chong Nongsi, which is a 5 minute taxi ride away.

This hotel is just a 5 minute walk to Patpong and in a very good area. The MRT train station is just right across the street and the BTS Sky Train is a 5 minute walk as well. There are lots of international fast food restuarants to eat around this hotel.

De Arni Hotel Bangkok - 1925 THB

De Arni Hotel is also one of the closest to Patpong, just a few minutes walk. There are also a couple of soapy massage parlors and many traditional Thai massage shops really close by. Make sure you try many of the street side restaurants, it'll satisfy your stomach and wallet.

Rose Hotel Bangkok - 1950 THB

This hotel as undergone a major renovation in 2004 so it has been nicely updated. It's very close to Patpong and two soapy massage parlors, JC Infinity and Versailles.

Freelance prostitutes hang out across the street as well if you can't find anyone you fancy in Patpong. Nearest BTS station is Sala Daeng

Tawana Bangkok - 20000 THB

This hotel is also really close to Patpong, less than a 3 minute walk. I hear a lot of mixed reviews about this hotel but my friends who have stayed here previously say it's fine.

Glitz Hotel Bangkok - 2100 THB

Glitz Hotel just opened recently in 2009 so the rooms and furniture are fresh and modern. Just a 5 minute walk to Patpong makes Glitz a real strategic location for enjoying go go bars and massage parlors. It's also about a 8 minute walk to Sala Daeng BTS station for getting to Nana and Soi Cowboy red light districts.

Montien Hotel Bangkok - 2100 THB
54 Surawongse Road

Montien is a classy hotel that leads right into Patpong 1 where all the go go bars are lined up as well as the Night Market that is right on the street.

JC Infinity Massage and Versaille Massage are nearby as well for some soapy massage parlor fun.

Siam Heritage Suites - 2350 THB

Siam Heritage is a boutique hotel close to Patpong, less than a 5 minute walk away. There are plenty of traditional Thai massage parlors you should not miss. Note: Siam Heritage requires you to book the room for 2 guests. If you change companion you'll be charged a 1000 THB joiner fee.

Centre Point Silom Bangkok - 2600 THB
Charoenkrung Road, Soi 50

Hands down one of the best places to stay in Bangkok in terms of quality and value. Just like an apartment back at home no one will give you a problem with whomever you bring to your room. Ask for a room with a view of the river. The only draw back is it's not the closest hotel to Patpong, about a 20 minute taxi ride.
Better yet hop on the Sky Train at Saphan Taksin BTS station and get off at Sala Daeng BTS station, a 5 minute ride.

Swiss Lodge - 2950 THB

Swiss Lodge is just 5 minutes walk to Patpong and the Sala Daeng BTS station. There are lots of great International bars and restaurants in the vicinity. You can watch a video made by a German travel company of the surrounding area.

Ascott Sathorn Hotel - 3250 THB

The Ascott is about a 10 min taxi ride to Patpong. Technically this property is a serviced apartment. But you still get the same full service as a hotel. It's a very clean hotel and if you like a quiet location than this would be the right choice for you.

Sofitel Silom Hotel Bangkok - 4000 THB

Sofitel is an International hotel chain and this one is quite fancy. A group of my friends stayed here for a vacation one time and have gone back all the time ever since.

Patpong is a short 5 minute taxi ride away. The nearest BTS station is Chong Nongsi.

Lebua at State Tower - 4880 THB
1055/111 Silom Road

One of the main attractions to the Lebua is the popular roof top bar. Plus they have a great view up there too of the river and the city.

Patpong 10 minute ride by taxi away. The closest BTS station is Saphan Taksin.

Shangri-La Hotel - 7600 THB
89 Soi Wat Suan Plu, New Road

A very fancy hotel near the river with professional service. It'll take about 15 minutes to get to Patpong by taxi if the traffic isn't bad. But the Sky Train is nearby so you can take it to Patpong by getting off at Sala Daeng Station.

Peninsula Hotel Bangkok -9000 THB
333 Charoennakon Road

If you ever wonder how it feels like to be treated as royalty then you should stay here. This hotel has been rated by top travel magazines for high service and quality. However it's the furthest away from Patpong. It's best to take the ferry provided by the hotel to get across the river and hop on a taxi. Total trip time should be about 30 minutes. Or you can take the Sky Train at Saphan Taksin BTS station and get off at Sala Daeng BTS station.
